5. Who we share your data with

5.1 Customers

When you are assigned a job, the customer sees your first name + your vehicle details (registration, make, model, colour) so they can identify you at pickup. Your phone number is not shared with the customer — all communication goes via us or via the in-app status updates. While you are en route to their pickup, the customer also sees your live GPS position on their app map.

5.2 Other drivers (bidding portal)

If the bidding portal is enabled, your 30-day rolling metrics (jobs count, total fare, total miles) are used to compute your fareshare score. Other drivers do not see your metrics directly, but the fareshare winner selection implicitly ranks you against them.

5.3 SMS gateway — Traccar

Your phone number + the message text are passed to our Traccar SMS gateway for driver-facing SMS (assignments, reminders, password-reset, onboarding invites, leave-status updates). We log the delivery status of each send.

5.4 SMS gateway — ClickSend

ClickSend is used for customer-facing SMS only. Your phone number is not passed to ClickSend for driver-facing messages.

5.5 Stripe (card payout processing)

When a customer pays by card, the payout share is computed and recorded in your driver_payout_ledger. Stripe holds the card details; we hold only the payout amount + the linked charge ID.

5.6 Cloudflare Turnstile

The driver onboarding form uses Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection. A one-time token + your IP address is sent to Cloudflare for verification.

5.7 Browser push notification service

If you opt in to push notifications, your browser generates a push subscription endpoint held by your browser vendor (e.g. Google for Chrome). We use this endpoint exclusively to send you job-offer and bid-outcome notifications.

5.8 Your licensing authority

We may be required to share driver records (licence number, vehicle details, job history) with your licensing authority on request or as a condition of operating under their licence. We will only share what is legally required.

5.9 HMRC

Payout + financial records are retained for 6 years per HMRC requirements and may be disclosed to HMRC on lawful request.

5.10 What we DO NOT share

We do not share your personal data with marketing companies, social media platforms, data brokers, or third-party advertisers. We do not sell your data.

6. International transfers

Some sub-processors (Google, Cloudflare, Stripe) may process data outside the UK. Each has appropriate safeguards in place (Standard Contractual Clauses or UK IDTA). A full sub-processor register is available on request.

8. Your data protection rights

Under the UK GDPR, you have the same rights as a customer:

9. How to exercise your rights

We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.

10. Data security

11. Data breach procedures

If we experience a personal data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the ICO within 72 hours and notify affected individuals without undue delay.

12. GPS tracking

While you have an active job (En Route / At Pickup / POB), your live GPS position is polled approximately every 5 seconds and is shown to (a) the dispatch operator in the admin panel and (b) the customer in their app's live tracking map while you are en route to their pickup. Tracking is active only while you have an active job — it is not used to track you off-duty. A full DPIA for GPS tracking is available on request.

13. Call recording

Inbound calls to the operator may be recorded for service quality, training, and dispute resolution. The lawful basis is legitimate interest. A full LIA (Legitimate Interests Assessment) + DPIA for call recording are available on request. You will hear a recorded message at the start of any recorded call informing you that the call may be recorded.

14. Cookies and local storage (driver app)

The driver app uses minimal local storage. See our Cookie Policy for the full inventory. We do not use advertising, analytics, or social-media pixels.
